Grant Application for
Adaptive Sports Fund

The purpose of the Adaptive Sports Fund is to provide support to athletes with physical challenges so they can pursue active lifestyles through physical fitness and competitive athletics.

 

Parasports are sports played by people with a disability.  Some parasports are variations on existing able-bodied sports, while others, such as goalball, have been specifically created for persons with a disability.

 

Wheels for Wheels offers Adaptive Sports Grants to competitive parasports athletes up to a maximum of $500 max per application for the following costs associated parasports competition:

 

  • Travel and Accommodations
  • Adaptive Sports Equipment
  • Competition Expenses
  • Coaching/Training
